Hello, blog! My groupmates and I filmed at our first location, the mall, last Saturday. Although our initial first location was supposed to be the neighborhood, we were forced to change it and decided to begin at the mall, which is located in the middle of our film. I suggested that we go to the mall early so that there would be fewer people and less background noise when filming the scenes' dialogue, and the rest of the group agreed. When we arrived at the mall, we decided to take a walk around to find the quietest and best location to begin filming. I was the one filming and directing how the film should look because I wasn't in the scenes being filmed. I double-checked with my group to see if they liked the outcome or if we should retake the scene.   Scheduling We plan to begin filming in early February during the week of the 6th and finish the week of the 20th. Then edit for a week to two weeks until it is done. This schedule includes prep time for props and costumes, planning ride accommodations, and finalizing any script or plot points.  Location  We are looking at multiple locations, and depending on the weather and availability, the final selection will be made.
