Cringey mall scenes

Hello, blog! My groupmates and I filmed at our first location, the mall, last Saturday. Although our initial first location was supposed to be the neighborhood, we were forced to change it and decided to begin at the mall, which is located in the middle of our film. I suggested that we go to the mall early so that there would be fewer people and less background noise when filming the scenes' dialogue, and the rest of the group agreed. When we arrived at the mall, we decided to take a walk around to find the quietest and best location to begin filming. I was the one filming and directing how the film should look because I wasn't in the scenes being filmed. I double-checked with my group to see if they liked the outcome or if we should retake the scene. There were numerous trials and errors because it was our first time undertaking such a large project and we wanted the quality to be the best it could be. We were definitely distracted by everything at the mall at times, but we finished the scenes for the part of the film. We went over the scenes over lunch after we finished filming for the day to ensure we had every scene for that location. for the next filming location, we hope it's in the neighborhood so we can start connecting the middle to the beginning. We're hoping that the next filming location will be in the neighborhood so that we can start connecting the middle to the beginning.

      In the short film it addresses the issue of selfishness and taking someone for granted. In the beginning of the film, it starts out as a moment of rekindling of friendship between the two characters, where they highlight each other on significant moments in their life separate life and the one they both shared before.
