Editing Sounds

Hey, blog! for editing today it's mostly sound since we have everything filmed already. I'm using youtube and other websites to find free copyrighted music that fits our theme and there has been a couple problems. There are certain music I want to use since the film is a coming of age theme. I'm looking for something that uplifts and maybe even a score to bring out the film. I have stitched together some sounds but that might be removed later if I find something better. As for the film itself, i have also stiched all the clips together and realized that I needed to add a lot of fades since the the transition between cuts was choppy. I have managed to make it look somewhat decent to watch and it turned out fine. Some of the sounds in the clips are still too low or have background noise interfering in it so I tried my best to lower the background noise and amplify the audio of the actors. There are still some clips that the editing has done nothing for and as a last resort, we may use voiceovers to make up for lost dialogue. Editing of the film is coming along there's just been a few bumps in the road but nothing that can't be fixed to better or decent.

      In the short film it addresses the issue of selfishness and taking someone for granted. In the beginning of the film, it starts out as a moment of rekindling of friendship between the two characters, where they highlight each other on significant moments in their life separate life and the one they both shared before.
