More friends! (group blog)

Hello, blog! My group members this year are Nurdlie, Alex, and Kennedy. Since AS Level, Nurdlie has always been my groupmate, while Alex and Kennedy and I have only recently become friends. We get along incredibly well as a group and have a lot in common. Nurdlie is someone I trust with my grade, so I decided to work with her. She is incredibly creative and skilled in anything that requires innovation, which led me to believe that she would be a valuable addition to the team. We have a variety of skills as a group, which is necessary for our assignment. By doing so, we can combine our thoughts to create something that embodies who we are while remaining open to new possibilities. Alex and I have different perspectives on a lot of topics and in the end, we can always come up with the best ideas together. Alex is also a quick thinker and has the best improvisation skills. We can always tell each other when we make mistakes too. Kennedy is also extremely time-efficient; she always plans out how to divide our time between various things, which could help us all stay on top of the schedule. One of our strongest team dynamics is communication and efficiency; we keep each other informed and give our tasks careful consideration. On the occasion that things don't turn out as we had hoped, we are all quite adaptable. We all have self-awareness and respect for one another. Everybody admits when they are wrong, and we all concentrate on what is expected going forward. We all enjoy working together and look for common ground when it comes to new perspectives. We can rely on one another to be dependable and efficient, and we all put equal effort into the task at hand and the end result.

      In the short film it addresses the issue of selfishness and taking someone for granted. In the beginning of the film, it starts out as a moment of rekindling of friendship between the two characters, where they highlight each other on significant moments in their life separate life and the one they both shared before. By this the audience gets a grasp of the two personalities of the characters and as the film develops and the scene changes the audience also gets to grasp the unfavorable traits of each character. I am working with Nurdlie, a friend that I recently made. We share a lot of similarities and have the best time together. I chose to work with Nurdlie because I trust her with my grade. She is responsible and reliable. I trust that I can rely on her for help and support. She also shows a lot of commitment to her work. She is a visionary and I am a strategist, which made me think this was a good balance for a team. We’re skilled in different things, which I think could be helpful for this project. This way we can combine our ideas to make something that represents us. We share different ideas and perspectives and tell the honest truth about what we think of each.
