 Scene 1 

Actress 1 (Emma) - “I mean, I don’t feel like I have a friend anymore”


Actress 2 (Claire) - “oh my god, I thought we went over this. You’re so annoying!”


Actress 1 (Emma) - (shocked) oh I’m annoying. You’re literally the problem. I didn’t want to be friends with you anyways.

(storms off/ hang up)


Scene 2

Emma- *jogging*

  • Diegetic sound - upbeat workout music 

*feels someone staring at her* 

*takes off headphones*

  • Diegetic sound - faded sound of upbeat workout music

*Looks back* 

(Someone is shown staring at Emma but she doesn't see them)

*continues jogging* 


Scene 3

(Emma is being followed and she realizes)

*person starts running after Emma* 

  • Non- Diegetic - intense chase music

Emma- *running away in fear* “No, No, No… please stop!” 

(Emma is cornered and the person is towering over her with a weapon)

Emma - “I can’t believe you’ve done this”

*person takes a swing causing Emma's death*

  • Diegetic sound - the sound of the weapon hitting Emma


Scene 4 (title sequence)

  • Non- Diegetic - suspenseful mystery music

Claire- (leave a message after the beep-beep) hey calling to say I'm sorry for what I said the other day. I didn’t mean it, It was the heat of the moment. Um… let’s hang out or get dinner like usual. Please call me back. 

(while the flash of scenes are showing)

      In the short film it addresses the issue of selfishness and taking someone for granted. In the beginning of the film, it starts out as a moment of rekindling of friendship between the two characters, where they highlight each other on significant moments in their life separate life and the one they both shared before. By this the audience gets a grasp of the two personalities of the characters and as the film develops and the scene changes the audience also gets to grasp the unfavorable traits of each character. For example, in the film, the first encounter of the issue was the character going inside the house to get changed, and the other waiting outside for a long period of time, which showed how one character was acting selfish in regard to other character waiting outside. The film explores themes of determinism, the potential consequences of time travel, and the importance of human connection. One of the key takeaways from the film is the idea that our actions, no matter how small, can have far-reaching consequences. The film also suggests that the future's not set in stone and that it can be changed through the choices we make in the present. I am working with Nurdlie, a friend that I recently made. We share a lot of similarities and have the best time together. I chose to work with Nurdlie because I trust her with my grade. She is responsible and reliable. I trust that I can rely on her for help and support. She also shows a lot of commitment to her work. She is a visionary and I am a strategist, which made me think this was a good balance for a team. We’re skilled in different things, which I think could be helpful for this project.
