Editing Blog
My teammate and I went to every location where we filmed and edit there just in case we had to film a scene one more time. I went over everything that needed to be replaced and what was missing. There were a lot of clips that needed to be removed and a lot of footage that needed to be added. I tried to perfect transitions and effects between each scene by editing multiple clips to make the video look less choppy. In the middle of editing the video to match the music's vibe, my teammate suggested some ideas and tweaks that we could do to improve the video. Making little changes to specific areas of each clip without completely changing the concept. My teammate also suggested making the video's ending less abrupt by adding a fade-out sound. We came to a final decision in editing because each of us had our own ways of editing and was better at using some tools than the other. The decision that I would edit the first half of the project and my teammate would edit the second half was easier to manage because it ensured that we were both satisfied with the video's results and that the editing responsibility was not placed solely on one person.
