First day filming and difficulties

To begin with, we had some difficulties gathering our props before we began filming, so we had to revert to our backup plan of substituting soda. After 20 minutes of hustling and worrying, we finally started filming. We jumped right into the first scene, which was at the vending machine, practicing camera angles, shots, and positions, as well as memorizing lines and tones. With the first scene, we had to do a few takes before we were comfortable with what we had. We watched the clip, suggested some home-editing tips, and then moved on to the next scene with actress 2. In between we took a short shot of just the product for edit to do at home. We shot the second scene on the cafeteria's outside (senior patio). Actress 2 went through the same process as Actress 1, memorizing words, tones, and postures. It took a few tries before we were satisfied with the result. Both actresses have to be in the shot for the final scene. This scene was placed between the two previous ones. To film both actresses, we placed the camera on a stable surface, adjusted the angle to our liking, and hit record. Because both actresses had the same line, we rehearsed  together and did a few takes until we were happy with the result. We both sat down after filming  to begin editing, putting clips together, adding background music, correcting brightness, and so on. We managed to get a few things edited but we need to do some reshooting. At the end of everything we had a drink and went back to class to go over some last minute things for the commercial. As side from having to substitute our drink, everything went according to plan.
